LifeGear 220 Lumen USB Rechargeable Adventure Lantern

Product Review (submitted on September 14, 2021):
It's amazing how far flashlights have come. When I look at this light I think that this is the type of flashlight every house should have (and perhaps every car too). If you're not familiar with the current state of rechargeable batteries, Lithium Ion batteries (they type used in this light) are so far superior to the old Nickel Metal Hydride batteries that were so commonly used several years ago. Why is this relevant... Lithium Ion is lighter and more compact for the same power output (allowing for more power delivery in the same space). However, perhaps the biggest benefit is that they hold the charge for way, way longer. This light can sit in your closet or kitchen draw for a year+ and still work just fine. You could have never done that with older rechargeable batteries. And anyone who has let a flashlight or other item sit for a long time that had Alkaline batteries in it, knows why that is a bad idea. Alkaline batteries are prone to leaking over time, and when they leak, they often ruin the item they are in. You don't have to worry about that with Lithium Ion rechargeable batteries. In fact you don't have to worry about anything at all with this flashlight - it's sealed, and not meant to be serviced. You never have to replace or worry about the batteries at all, just charge them when needed. Dorcy doesn't say, but I would estimate that you could charge this light over and over hundreds and hundreds of times.
The light can also be used as a power bank to charge your cell phone or other devices. I'm not going to list all the features, you can read them in the product information. I will say that if you need to buy someone a useful gift, this would be a good choice. Every home and car should have a flashlight like this.
