Have had 2 of these for a year and a half in a stairway and a walk-in cupboard.
Absolutely no problems, a great accessory (paid $25 each in a DIY store in the Caribbean - Home & Tools, Marigot, St Martin !). Can't get anymore anywhere on island.
When the batteries need changing, the thing functions abnormally so you know before it blacks out - dim light, doesn't turn off ... New batteries, after 15 months of constant use at the top of a stairway.
My wife is going to order 20 or so for the beach resort rooms she manages.Quality Price Value
