I haven't been shopping at Dorcy for a while since I don't need any more flashlights but I am always on the lookout for small task lights. In the past, Dorcy has had flex neck LED lights and I have bought several and enjoyed them but in the last couple of years no new versions. So, on seeing this one and looking at the specs and pictures I thought I would give it a try. Boy, am I glad I did! This is a PERFECT task light for someone like me who works with metal working machines and is older and always could use more light focused on the task at hand. With dazzlingly bright beam of the main wand and easy positioning flexibility it is an excellent complement to existing machine lighting or as a stand alone. I have several small bench mounted items like arbor press, custom vices, and press brake that don't lend themselves to dedicated 120v lighting and this light is perfect and better for that kind of task. The magnetic base is very strong and readily anchors itself to any metal surface, the switch is very convenient and positive, dual light intensity levels are handy, and that bright single LED at the end of the wand is handy for looking for items that have fallen off the bench. Very nicely made and seems very durable - well thought out design features. Have to admit that I like this better than my older flex-neck lights. Glad I took a look at you site this year and thanks for BOGO!
