Dorcy 41-0805 6V to 4D Adapter

6 volt lantern batteries are getting to be expensive & hard to find without going to a specialty shop. I figured that at the price I could afford to at least try the Dorcy 6v to 4 D Adapter as we always have D cells in the house for other items.. The item shipped promptly & when I received it I didn't expect it to be as sturdy as it is. The D cells are securely held in place & the adapter fits perfectly inside of an old camping light we pull out to use during our semi regular power outages. I plan on purchasing 4 more for a large 6 volt fluorescent lantern that I really like to have ready for the next blackout.
