Excellent LED Upgrade For Old Incandescent 6 Volt Lanterns

This is a great way to upgrade older 6 volt lanterns with much brighter and longer lasting LED bulbs. I also added the 6 volt to 4 x D cell battery converters to several old lanterns. Besides being cheaper to operate with the D cell batteries, it also makes the lantern a bit lighter to carry and use. Adding lithium D cell batteries will further improve cold weather performance and avoid those messy leaks when using alkaline batteries.

Replacing the standard PR light bulb.

Good choice for a improvement from a standard incandescent PR light bulb to a LED one.
