This is one of the last incandescent bulb flashlights available anywhere. These flashlights are excellent for teaching the basics of electrical circuits. I use them for hands on training of maintenance people in team problem solving and basic diagnostics. Newer LED flashlights are essentially electronic devices that don't follow the same rules as electrical devices and don't reinforce the same lessons.
