1952 - The flashlight & battery business begins with ASHFLASH in Stamford, CT with buying / shipping office in Kowloon, Hong Kong
1960 - Dorcy is formed to market bicycle accessories to Kmart, later acquired by Fuqua
1973 - ASHFLASH acquired by Fuqua Industries and folded into the Dorcy Group
1985 - LBO by management takes Dorcy private
1990 - Dorcy restructured for flashlights and batteries only
