Listen you get a darn good lamp for $25 bucks, if you want to spend $70 then I am sure it would be 5 stars but why! Listen don't buy this lamp from a seller where it could have sat on the shelf for a couple of years, be sure to follow the rules, do not run this lamp to dead! Recharge only 12 hrs, unplug, will last for months, I have had two of these and never ever an issue. Keep in a cool dry place.

Works as it is supposed to! I have owned mine fir years an just gave it to my daughter to use in her new home, l just rechecked my new one a few months ago, works as it should for about $20 some, follow the directions tagged on the spotlight, don't run it dead! Charge it only as instructed an do not keep it on the charger 24-7 I keep mine out of the sun, rain, heat an it will last an last.

Had this thing about 3 years and it hardly ever worked. The trigger switch does not work. It will stick on or if it's on you can't turn it off. I would not get another one.

The trigger switch is definitely a problem. Had 2 of these spotlights and both last a few months. Then the trigger switch burned out. On the 2nd, I drilled a hole in the side of the case and replaced the trigger switch with simple toggle switch from the hardware store. It has worked great ever since. I love the light, but the trigger switch needs to be redesigned.

Had 2 of these lights the 1st one lasted about a year and a half and then I could not get it to turn on,,, something was wrong with the power trigger... Got a replacement from Dorcy I had it least then a year now the same thing has happen to it...Worked fine when it would come on...Will not buy another one... I will look to get another brand...

Trigger switch stopped working and can't find a replacement. When it worked it was great, but without the switch...

Received a Dorcy 41-1097 1 million cp cordless spotlight as a gift about 2+ years ago. Within the 1st year, with limited use, the batter died and would no longer hold its charge. Dorcy replaced the battery and so far, the new battery is working ok. Problem is that now the light will not stay on when the trigger switch is pulled. I can hold it and it will stay on for a few seconds and then go off. Trigger manipulation will keep the light on about about 5-10 seconds before it goes off. When the spot light worked, i liked it but it only has worked about 15% of the time that I've owned it.

This light worked well for me. Read the instructions on maintaining the battery. If not the battery will die on you.
